Beyond the veil of history lies a living current of magic.

Arcane Borders explores the ancient rites and customs of Scotland’s southern Borders and Galloway, where families still keep the old ways alive.

From ghost‑laying to ancestral charms and spirit conjuration - it is a heritage steeped in myth and mystery.

For those drawn to Celtic paganism, Scottish folk witchcraft, and British esoteric arts, join us - Rob and Nonie Douglas - as we reclaim the arcane threads of Reiver identity and the Old Faith of the Borders.

See You at Mystic South 2026

We hope our friends across the US will join us in Atlanta for the Mystic South Conference, 17-19th July.  It's an event we look forward to every year, and it has quickly become one of the premier esoteric gatherings for serious-minded polytheists, occultists and mystics in the South East.

This year we're presenting two workshops. The first, Beyond the Circle - The Mechanics of Magic Circles in Medieval and Renaissance Traditions, focuses on understanding inner teachings of early grimoires, expanding on the themes of Chapter Nine of Unquiet Voices.  The second workshop Ausvena's Promise - A Celtic Goddess of Dawn and Renewal continues our series of uncovering Celtic deities who have been forgotten or misrepresented by later literature. We are pleased to be joined by Aurelie, who will share her personal insight as a dedicant of this goddess.

Our son, Hunter, will also be presenting a workshop - Cultivating Willpower and Spiritual Fitness for Pagans and Magicians, drawing on his military experience as a practitioner of the old faith.

Book Signing

Conference attendees will be able to purchase copies of Unquiet Voices - the Magical Art of Laying Ghosts at Sojourners Books in the vending room. We will be sitting at the authors table between 4-6pm on Friday July 17th for signings.

If you would like to get your copy signed, ask questions or say hello don't hesitate to seek us out anytime during the conference. We love to meet new people and we always enjoy a good chinwag!
